A Morning Prayer Walk

The Word of their Testimony

A Morning Prayer Walk
Monday morning was like most Mondays in the past five months. I don’t have a testimony to share, and Wednesday is coming fast. However, during those five months, I’ve seen God’s faithfulness again and again; He always provides. I have a few “irons in the fire,” but it appears they’ll be for the coming weeks. This week, I’m going to share something. Here’s how it came about…
I arrived at the job site Monday morning. It’s a new assignment, my second week. I felt like praying first thing could work out, so I went for a walk around my area, it is quite large, taking over 10 minutes to circle it. I prayed for coworkers, contractors and the client, safety and team unity. There were other things I prayed for, but I don’t know what they were, but rest assured they’re all covered, thank you Holy Spirit. I’m planning on repeating this activity every morning because prayer works. A friend of mine has a rhetorical question he likes to ask, “what happens when we pray… everything!”
As I walked and prayed, I remembered that I was in need of a testimony, so I ask for one. An hour or so later I was reminded of a song from Sunday morning, I looked it up on YouTube and spend the majority of the day singing it, some worship moments are better on Monday than they were on Sunday.
I was made to love you and be loved by you, I was made to worship you in all I do and I was made to give you all the praise you’re due, I was made to live for you. Singing the chorus over and over blessed me in a way words can’t describe. How amazing that we were made to love him back, and we’ve taken the opportunity.
That’s the testimony, spend time with him wherever you are, he’s waiting for you.
The Blood of the Lamb

In this meal we reenact the judgment of sin, of darkness, of bondage in our own lives and in the world and in our participation we prophecy the victory over all forms of darkness.
Body/Bread
Paul received this by revelation from Jesus Christ himself. He writes, the night he was betrayed he took bread and when he had given thanks he broke it. God we thank you that the living bread came down from heaven, that you gave us this bread of life, we thank you for it God. It binds heaven and earth together. It infuses all creation with the redemptive work of the creator, so we thank you in Jesus name. (Receive the bread)
Blood/Wine
And it says do this in remembrance of me, we can't forget it Lord. In the same way he also took the cup after supper, he's redefining the Passover meal, Jesus thank you. This cup is the new covenant in my blood, do this as often as you drink it in remembrance of me. Lord Jesus, thank you for your sacrifice. Heavenly father, thank you for this gift that is beyond words. We received this covenant, we renew it, we pledge ourselves to live for you as you live in us in Jesus name. (Receive the wine)
Father, we thank you that death is defeated. It was abolished on the cross and that life and resurrection have come to light. We live forever in him, Jesus Christ is Lord. Amen
