The Word of their Testimony

Far from home on empty
Sunday morning I was talking with a friend who's in full-time ministry. His ministry shares the Gospel with Hindu and Muslim immigrants in Central Pa through food out reach and English lessons among other things. He was telling me how recently, providing transportation to and from church and the English classes has been challenging and he expressed that his ministry was in need a van. As we talked about God providing for our needs, I thought to I ask him if he had any testimonies. I specifically asked for a testimony about God showing up in a small but practical way. This is the testimony he shared with me.
A few weeks ago he had a meeting at a place he'd never been before. He only had a little bit of gas in his vehicle but wasn't expecting the location to be far. It turned out to be further away than he expected and when he arrived he was almost out of gas. He said it would've been very embarrassing to ask anyone for money because this was the first time he'd met them. As they were meeting, he was in prayer about his need.
While the meeting was going on, the director said to him, the Lord told me to give you something. Since the ministry provides food and cloths for homeless people he thought the director wanted to give him some clothes or extra food. The director ran to his third floor office and comes back with fifty dollars! The exact amount to fill the empty gas tank! Praise God!
The Blood of the Lamb

There are three times that we see in scripture where Jesus took what was there, he gave thanks and he broke it. He fed the five thousand and there were 12 baskets left. He fed the four thousand and 7 baskets were left. The third time we see Jesus do this in scripture it says he took the bread he gave thanks and he broke it. Do you believe there's more than enough for all your needs, for all your hurts, for all that's happening? He said this is my body broken for you, not just bread, this wasn't just to feed their stomachs, this was to feed souls and there is more than enough in this meal. We don't do this symbolically, we don't do this memorially, we do this supernaturally, as we partake and expect. How many baskets this time God? We prepare the containers for God to come and to bless and to do what he does. We don't control him, but man he's on the throne and there is always more than enough.
Body/Bread
So on the night he was betrayed, he took the bread, he gave thanks and said, take and eat. As you do today, remember that there is not just a little, but there is more than enough for everything you're believing for. There is enough and more for every need for every provision. God we partake of your body today and we trust in you to bring about all that you've said, all that you've promised. Thank you Jesus. (Receive the bread)
Blood/Wine
In the same way he took the cup said, this is a new covenant in my blood. We enter into covenant with the God who has more than enough, is more than enough and provides for every need. We thank you God, we respond to the covenant every time we drink. (Receive the wine)
