The Word of their Testimony

It was the right ear
Then Simon Peter, who had a sword, drew it and struck the high priest’s servant, cutting off his right ear. (The servant’s name was Malchus.) John 18:10
First, I’d like to thank everyone who joined me in praying for our nation last week, it was timely.
The events of Saturday generated many conversations. In one I had with my uncle, he mentioned the story of Peter cutting off the ear of the servant of the high priest, who came to help arrest Jesus on the morning he gave his life for us. Our talk generated a few questions, was it his right ear and what did Malchus do with his testimony? A quick search didn’t provide any other historical accounts of Malchus, not to say he didn’t share his testimony. I’m sharing this as a reminder, when God does something in your life, share it with someone. Your story will encourage them and build their faith.
The Blood of the Lamb

He willingly laid his life down for every one of us. His body was given for each of us, his blood poured out for every one of our lives. Communion is an invitation to his people to draw near to him, come and be alone with me. And when we meet with him, we can be cleansed, we can be made new, we can be healed.
Body/Bread
He took the bread, gave thanks and broke it and gave it to them saying this is my body given for you do this in remembrance of me. Jesus we remember what you've done, thank you for your life given for us. (Receive the bread)
Blood/Wine
The same way after supper he took the cup saying, this cup is the new covenant in my blood which is poured out for you. There's life in the blood, we receive your life today Jesus, we thank you for your blood. (Receive the wine)
